I graduated from the University of Montreal in 1985, armed with a solid foundation in dental science and a fervent desire to make a difference in people’s lives. Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving both local and underserved communities, which has profoundly shaped my approach to dental care and patient interaction.
My journey in dentistry has been enriched through my involvement with the Canadian Dental Association, where I contribute to the dental aptitude exam in Ottawa. This role not only allows me to stay connected with the latest developments in dental education but also gives me the opportunity to guide and inspire the next generation of dental professionals. I have also worked as a part-time clinician at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Montreal, sharing my expertise with aspiring dentists while continuing to hone my own skills in a dynamic academic environment. Beyond my clinical work, I have had the incredible opportunity to serve as a part-time replacement dentist in several Cree Communities in the James Bay region of Northern Quebec. This experience opened my eyes to the unique challenges faced by remote communities and fueled my desire to provide accessible and compassionate dental care. My commitment to service extends internationally, as I volunteered in Rabat, Morocco, where I treated underprivileged children on behalf of a charitable organization. In my free time, I cherish traveling, I also have a passion for classic cars. As I look to the future, I remain committed to enhancing dental care for all, fostering community health, and inspiring others through my work.
